If a Jew slaughters an animal belonging to his friend (fellow Jew) for the sake of worshiping Idols, it is not forbidden, because certainly his intentions are only to cause him distress (and not to actually worship idols). However, if he has a share in it, some say that also his friend’s share is also forbidden, while others say that this is also directed to only cause distress to his colleague, and then it is not forbidden.
